A recorded line can jump, cut corners or miss sections when the iPhone cannot maintain an accurate location fix.
In the app
- Enable Precise Location for Go Guide and avoid Low Power Mode during important recordings.
- Carry the phone where it has a clearer view of the sky rather than deep inside a bag.
- Wait for the map position to settle before starting Track & Go or route navigation.
- Keep Go Guide allowed to use location while the activity runs and avoid force-closing it.
- Compare the line with obvious signal obstacles such as woodland, steep valleys, cliffs or buildings.
On the web
- The website displays the activity data recorded and synced by the app; it does not recalculate the original GPS track.
- If reporting a problem, include the activity date, screenshots and the section where the line became inaccurate.
