Update these details while you can still access your account, especially before changing to a new mobile number.
In the app
- Tap Profile, tap the pencil on your profile photo, and find Mobile or Email Address.
- Enter the complete new mobile number, including the correct country code where requested, or your new email address.
- Save the profile, then use the updated detail the next time you sign in.
- If you use Sign in with Apple, continue using the same Apple ID even if Apple supplies a private relay email.
On the web
- Sign in, open the account menu and select Edit profile.
- Change the Email address or Mobile number field and select Save profile.
- Sign out only after the save confirmation, then confirm you can sign in with the updated method.
