Go Guide can only show your real position when the device, browser and app all permit location access.
In the app
- Open iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services and make sure Location Services is on.
- Select Go Guide and allow location while using the app, with Precise Location enabled.
- Return outdoors or near a window, reopen the map and wait briefly for a GPS fix.
- Restart the app if the position remains stale.
On the web
- Select the padlock or site-settings control beside the browser address and allow Location for goguide.co.uk.
- Reload Routes and approve the browser prompt.
- Use the location control again. Check macOS or Windows privacy settings if the browser has no system permission.
