A short but steep walk to the dramatic summit of Raven Crag, perched high above Thirlmere. The route climbs quickly from the start, heading straight into dense woodland and gaining height over a rough and often uneven trail. Expect tree roots, rocky steps, and loose sections underfoot as you make your way up. At the top, you'll reach an exposed summit platform with one of the most impressive views in the central Lakes. The return follows the same direction, with the option to ease off slightly by taking a short detour before rejoining the main trail. Dogs are welcome but must be kept under close control, especially near the summit drop-offs.
