Offline Maps is a Go Guide Premium feature designed to keep downloaded routes, maps and navigation information available when mobile signal disappears.
In the app
- While you still have a reliable connection, open the route and select Download. Premium users can download individual routes and supported map areas.
- Wait until Go Guide confirms the route is downloaded before leaving coverage. Starting an undownloaded route while online may also prepare it automatically in the background.
- Open your downloaded routes to check the map, route metadata and navigation are ready.
- Without signal, start and follow a route only if it was downloaded beforehand. Premium Track & Go can record without a pre-downloaded route.
- When signal returns, activity stored on the phone syncs automatically and online map options return.
On the web
- Use the website to choose and review the route you want.
- Send the route to the Go Guide app, then download it in the app while you have a connection.
- The website itself does not create an offline map package for your browser.
