Live Share is a Premium in-route action that creates a link to your current route session.
In the app
- Start following the route, then tap the gear button on the route map to open Route Actions.
- Choose Live Share. If it is locked, Premium is required.
- Select Messages, Mail or another share option and send the generated share.goguide.co.uk link to the person you trust.
- Keep location permission enabled while walking. The recipient opens the link in a browser to follow your live progress.
- Finish the route when you are done so the active session ends normally.
On the web
- Live Share must be started from an active route in the iPhone app; it cannot be started from the website.
- A recipient can open the shared link in a normal web browser and does not need to control your Go Guide account.
- The main website route Share button shares the route page, not your live location.
