3D Activity Replay animates your progress along a completed route or Track & Go recording. It combines the recorded track, terrain, elevation and nearby places in an interactive playback.

Open a 3D replay

  1. Open Activities.
  2. Select the completed activity you want to replay.
  3. Tap 3D on the activity map or choose Replay your activity in 3D.

Full 3D Activity Replay is a Go Guide Premium feature.

Use the playback controls

  • Tap the central button to pause or resume playback.
  • Drag across the elevation profile to move to another point in the activity.
  • Expand or minimise the playback panel using its handle.
  • Move or zoom the map manually to inspect the surrounding area.

Change playback settings

Tap the cog to open Playback Settings:

  • Peaks: show or hide nearby summits.
  • Landmarks: show or hide nearby landmarks.
  • Follow route direction: rotate the map as the direction of travel changes.
  • Map view: switch between the angled 3D terrain view and an overhead 2D view.

Understand the display

The moving marker represents progress through the recorded track. The orange route section shows the portion already replayed, while the remaining line shows what is still ahead.

The replay also displays distance and elevation information from the activity. The green marker identifies the start and the red marker identifies the finish.
